We are looking for an experienced Lawyer to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will will ensure the whole legal support for the company while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires an understanding of corporate and labor law, experience working with service contracts and agreements and excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify potential legal risks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to management and employees on matters essential for the effective discharge of their responsibilities;
- Support the Legal division manager in supervising daily operations of the legal department and propose implementation of necessary changes or enhancements;
- Draft documents in compliance with relevant regulatory provisions necessary for the company's core and business activities, including internal regulations;
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts in alignment with company objectives;
- Mentor and train junior legal professionals, sharing expertise and fostering professional development;
- Represent the company before governmental, municipal, and judicial bodies, including the preparation of requisite documentation;
- Monitor planned changes in regulatory acts pertaining to the regulated area, identifying upcoming amendments and proactively suggesting solutions aimed at minimizing their impact on the company's operations;
- Offer legal opinions on matters pertinent to the company's core economic activities.
- Collaborate with the HR department, providing guidance on the application of labor laws and other personnel-related matters;
- Undertake additional duties as delegated by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Higher legal education, at least a Bachelor's degree;
- 3+ years experience as a Lawyer/ Legal consultant;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Latvian;
- The ability of decision-making in spheres of responsibility;
- Project management skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork skills;
- Ability to learn quickly and to adapt to new operational/business environments;
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent time management skills.

We dont want to set any limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the salary range for this position is from 3500 EUR Gross to 4000 EUR Gross per month.
