What you can expect in this role
- Care of selected specialty HCPs - clinic and private practice and establishment of long-term partnerships in their care network.
- Convincing the target groups of discussion-intensive specialty products and continuously increasing sales in the respective area.
- Planning and implementation of advanced educational events for doctors and pharmacists including presentation of scientific publications in cooperation with medical team.
- Gather Information from doctors about new scientific findings in the field.
- Participation in congresses (national and international) as well as on-site customer care.
- Independent area management, taking into account the company's targets and independent target tracking (qualitative & quantitative).
- Optimal visit preparation, planning and implementation.
- Independent and goal-oriented action as well as result-oriented handling of the resources made available, taking into account the legal and compliance requirements.
- Close cooperation with internal interfaces, e.g. Marketing, Medical, Portfolio, commercial.
- Initiation of projects and their implementation in cooperation with the respective department.
- Contribute to local go to market strategy & tools development.
- Contribute to Specialty pharmaceuticals pipeline selection by helping to identify and assess portfolio opportunities, providing sales forecast and other input for sound business case.
Who the Company is looking for
- University degree in pharmacy, medicine or in a scientific field desirable, alternatively pharmaceutical consultant.
- Extensive sales experience (at least 5 years) in medical-scientific specialist and/or clinic field service, including at least three years of professional experience in the field of secondary care. Experience in rheumatology, oncology or immunology would be an advantage.
- Very good knowledge, in particular of the supply structures, networks and the therapeutic environment with intact, resilient customer relationships in secondary care.
- Good knowledge of health policy framework conditions.
- Experience in conducting trade fairs and workshops.
- Confident handling of the interpretation of scientific study results.
- Powers of persuasion and negotiation skills as well as strong team skills and sociability, communication skills.
- Safe and representative appearance.
- Ability to analyse territory, business acumen.
- English knowledge in spoken and written.
- Good MS Office skills.
- High willingness to travel.
