About:
Our company invites a Purchasing Specialist (Furniture and interior items and accessories) to join the team!
Purchasing Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications. Ultimately, you will work with leaders in our organization to understand the needs of our organization and ensure we achieve our supply goals in a timely manner.
Main responsibilities and requirements:
- Independent coordination and management of assigned projects;
- Independent and effective cooperation with Europe TOP suppliers;
- Cooperation with clients to understand their needs;
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements;
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns;
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings;
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
You must have:
- At least 3 years of international experience in procurement;
- Successful experience in best companies related to furniture and interior design;
- Ability to maintain and analyze large amounts of information;
- Excellent knowledge of English and Latvian (written and spoken). Russian and/or other languages will be concidered as advantage;
- Excellent MS Office knowledge, 1C confident user;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Accuracy, quality-oriented, creative and analytical thinking.
