About the role

Baltic Data Unit is strengthening its information design capabilities and is looking for an Information Architect to contribute to development of good quality data and introduction of central information model. You will be part of information architecture chapter and have the responsibility to take data governor role within agreed data domains, ensuring that developed data is in good quality and supports company's business goals. You are expected to work actively with different stakeholders, including development teams, data engineers, BI developers, analysts, and business representatives. One of your tasks would be to establish smooth communication flow between all those relevant stakeholders within your governed data domains. Good business knowledge related to your data domains will be essential.

What are you going to do?

In collaboration with other information architects design company information model and drive proper usage of it within the whole company.
Ensure critical information flow with all technical counterparties in data development and data application stakeholders through following established cooperation models.
Show leadership to facilitate discussions of complex topics, which requires involvement on multiple counterparties or stakeholders.
Contribute to operational and analytical services development.
Define meaningful criteria/standards for data and information quality within responsible domains (could be quantitative or qualitative).
Describe data development standards which support improvement of defined quality metrics.
Initiate projects in cooperation with business stakeholders to improve data quality.
Show courage and leadership to drive value creating or regulations driven initiatives related to data development/management/usage in your domain.

What do we expect from you?

We think that you are a technologist with extensive experience in working with data. You have a strong vision of information and data modelling and good knowledge of IT development process and roles. IT analyst or solution architect background would be relevant.

We also value experience with driving and coordinating complex data related initiatives and capabilities to engage and collaborate with the organization around you.

Must have:

Genuine interest and passion for data.
At least 3 years of work experience in data engineering, IT analyst, solution architect or similar role.
Experience with driving and coordinating large and complex initiatives within data & analytics.
Good communication skills and ability to bring clarity to complex topics.
Fluent in English, with the ability to understand one of the Baltic languages.

Nice to have:

Work experience in an Agile environment.
Understanding of insurance business.

Monthly salary: €4500-5300 gross. Additionally, there is an annual bonus.
