Your responsibilities
- Ensure high quality and regulatory compliance of risk management function
- Perform various risk management processes (risk identification, risk measurement, and assessment, risk control and monitoring, risk reporting, and ensuring that risk mitigation actions are effective)
- Risk assessment of existing and potential business activities, as well as evaluating and monitoring TWINO counterparties, including engaging in the financial analysis of counterparties and financial instruments
- Carry out and monitor risk assessment requirements for new investment products and product changes with the initial product evaluation
- Provide regular reports to the management about the potential risks and their alignment with the company's strategy and ability to achieve its objectives and take appropriate action where necessary
- Work with inquiries received from the Bank of Latvia related to risk management and compliance
- Develop, revise, and renew internal policies governing risk management and ensure their compliance with external regulations
- Closely cooperate with other TWINO structural units in risk management and compliance areas
- Maintain and update the Risk register
- Investigating irregularities and non-compliance issues
- Contributing to business continuity and recovery planning
What we are looking for
- A higher education degree in economics, business, or finance
- 3+ years of experience in risk management in a bank, investment firm, insurance company, or another type of regulated financial institution
- Strong knowledge of risk management and its processes
- Strong knowledge of the financial markets, financial instruments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of maintaining effective relationships with the regulator
- Professional working proficiency in Latvian and English

The salary range for this position starts from 3000 EUR gross and depends on the skill set, experience, and other competencies.
