Responsibilities include:
- Mechanical design, simulation, and calculations of systems that enable new capabilities
- CAD design of drone systems, subsystems, components as well as production tooling
- Design of testing procedures for mechanical systems, participating in testing programs to test system functionality, robustness, and structural integrity
- Preparation of drawings for production
- Working with outsourced engineering teams specializing in niche and highly advanced subsystems utilized in the company's products
