Are you interested in learning more about the Procurement Manager role in the world leading industrial coatings resins company? We are looking for an organized, accurate and proactive leader who will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Procurement team and manages the team with respect to workload distribution, continuous improvement, motivation and people development. Role also includes to be a purchasing specialist for direct materials and local buyer for indirect materials for Riga and Malaysia office.

Responsibilities
- Invoice control (against price lists) of Freight invoices;
- Maintenance of freight prices in systems as provided by Indirect Procurement Transport & Warehousing;
- Invoice extra costs review view Logistics;
- Request freight quotes for situations with fixed carriers;
- Freight rate and freight route maintenance in the system;
- Support, manage and guide the Procurement team (located in retained organization);
- Participate in hiring process;
- Cooperate with local sourcing managers to improve the efficiency of procurement transactions;
- Pro-actively bring forward and follow up on process improvement initiatives;
- Ensuring proper escalation of issues to Procurement Optimization Director;
- Participation in internal and external audits, perform periodic procurement reports;
- Arrange training sessions for new hires, end users and other departments teams.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience within business support functions;
- At least a bachelor degree and/or studying for masters;
- Fluent in English;
- Any other language (German, Italian or French) is considered an asset but not required;
- Excellent Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.);
- Organized, accurate and proactive;
- Excellent communicator verbally and in written form;
- Can work in an independent manner, as well as integrate well into a team;
- Acquire overall understanding of Procurement organization/processes and interaction with other departments;
- Acquire ability to understand the process flow and act swiftly upon exceptions.
