We are looking for a motivated Junior accountant for a temporary position with a duration of six months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Group Chief Accountant in day-to-day activities
Check, prepare and process accounting documents
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Take part in periodic (monthly, quarterly and yearly) closing procedures
Assist with other ad hoc accounting projects

REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 years of experience in accounting
Degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or you are on your way to it)
Good understanding of financial accounting and the LR tax system
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
Strong written & verbal Latvian and English communication skills
Growth mindset and willingness to learn
Experience with 1C and Xero will be an advantage
