We are excited to announce an opening for a Commercial Manager as part of our ongoing expansion. This key role will focus on generating business with new clients and further developing existing relationships. Based in Riga, the successful candidate will drive our company's reach across international markets including the UK and Europe. The position involves intensive traveling, offering significant opportunities for professional growth and global networking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in automation, robotics and intralogistics sectors on an international scale
- Explore opportunities in other markets and industries to diversify and expand the company's business reach
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories
- Develop new and existing business to help drive company performance and expand the existing services and expertise
- Create detailed business development plans that align with the company's objectives. Inform clients how our product or service aligns perfectly with their quality, price, and delivery requirements, engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them towards the most suitable products.
- Liaise with estimation and technical team to prepare the tender response and commercial offers, providing support to make sure the scope of service and client requirements are fully met and accounted for
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
- Preparing regular reports and sales projections to company management
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering or similar technical background
- Successful experience in sales
- Proven technical background in Automation and Intralogistics sectors would be advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in devising and implementing effective business development strategies within the industry
- Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills with strong Customer focus
- Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities
- A professional appearance
- Fluent In English and Latvian languages (both written and spoken); additional language skills are highly desirable (German)
- EU Driving license
- High level of IT proficiency
