KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement, debug, and maintain services and user interfaces.
• Test coding to ensure quality.
• Adjust themes for site managers' needs.
• Establish and guide the websites architecture.
• Ensure high performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Formulate an effective, responsive design into a working theme and plugin.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience developing WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, understanding of front-end technologies, and ability to create and customise themes.
• Expertise in PHP and MySQL, knowledge of basic database interaction/management.
• Familiarity with website optimisation to improve site performance and loading speed.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs: Ability to integrate third-party services.
• Experience in creating custom APIs will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with SEO Best Practices: Implementing on-page SEO techniques.
• Understanding of SEO plugins and tools.
• Good Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Good time management skills: meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
• Attention to detail when working with requirements.
