- Operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Apple Cloud Services.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management software, including KPI monitoring and IT security protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing software, hardware, and network issues.
- Basic knowledge of IT procurement processes and configuration for both hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Job description
Job Responsibilities
Serving as the first line for IT support of the Clear Junction personnel:
- Installing, configuring and maintaining hardware and software components of:
- Telecommunication equipment (cabling and wireless, local area networks, switches, routers).
- Firewalls, antiviruses, and other user security applications and solutions.
- Printers, scanners and other office devices.
- Corporate hardware, including mobile phones, tablets and other gadgets.
- Windows, Linux, and macOS systems are appropriate business applications.
- User-related Google, Microsoft and Apple Cloud Services, as well as other relevant CJ offices IT infrastructure services.
- Oversee and monitor platform-related Remote Monitoring and Management software, ensuring the security of IT operations, and continuously monitoring related KPIs.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues as:
- Procurement and installation/configuration of hardware and software.
- Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components. Procurement and installation/configuration of hardware and software.
- Support end users from the London and Riga offices of Clear Junction.
- Provide IT helpdesk services to the CJ staff.
- Investigate IT incidents, as requested.
- Contribute to development and update of policies, procedures, manuals and other internal documentation.
- Support of end users, consulting colleagues from other departments and divisions
The role is reporting directly to the Head of the Information Infrastructure Division.

We are seeking for an IT Support Specialist who will operate and maintains on-premise the IT infrastructure in our Riga office to ensure that the concerned people get the most effective IT functionality in time.
Main duties include facilitating and supporting smooth, uninterrupted office operations on site; managing, controlling and improving internal network infrastructure; evaluating vulnerabilities of the IT infrastructure; troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues, setting up end-user devices and assisting employees and customers with IT-related problems in the Riga office of Clear Junction.
