Hybrid working: 2 remote working days weekly
We are looking for a new Settlements Officer to join our team in Riga. The role involves
processing incoming and outgoing client payments (SWIFT, SEPA, local), conducting payment
investigations, and performing back-office duties for five branches: London, Dubai, Luxembourg,
and Singapore, with Hong Kong to be added in the future.

What youll be doing
- Processing outgoing and incoming client payments through internal platforms, payment provider systems, and SWIFT
- Handling internal payments and reversals
- Booking journal entries, including FX orders, reversals, and adjustments
- Conducting payment investigations
- Performing daily reconciliations
- Collaborating with client managers and banking partners on operational payment-related queries
About you, you have
- Fluent in English to be able to communicate with our international colleagues
- Minimum of 2 years experience with clearing and transaction processing systems like SWIFT in a banking or EMI environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and countries
- Able to prioritise tasks, learn quickly, and manage your workload independently
- Exceptional attention to detail
