JOB MISSION
The Head of Mergers and Acquisitions will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic M&A opportunities to enhance our company's growth and operational capabilities.
OUTCOMES
- Identify and assess potential acquisition targets that align with Sun Finance strategic objectives and growth plans.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to evaluate potential M&A opportunities.
- Develop detailed financial models and valuations to support decision-making processes.
- Lead negotiations and manage the transaction process, collaborating with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure successful execution.
- Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations regarding potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, financial advisors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the fintech sector.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or corporate finance, particularly within the fintech industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for the fintech industry and a deep understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
