What you will do

At Volvo Truck Latvia you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

Driver Trainer the expert who is conducting informational and practical trainings to customers and customers drivers, consulting customers and customers drivers on how to operate the truck, economic and safe driving, providing advise in order to increase drivers productivity and to provide him with improved professional skills that contributes to drivers personal development and in order customers companies get the most out of purchased Volvo Trucks and/or Renault Trucks and the companys drivers.

Who are you?

A desire to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders;

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, excellent Latvian language skills, and a good command of English and Russian languages;

At least 3 years tractor-trailer over-the-road driving experience as truck driver ;

The ability to instruct, motivate and engage;

Categories B, C, CE driving licence and digital tachograph driver card;

Good computer skills and capability to learn other work related tools;

Knowledge of current state regulations relating to the trucking industry.

Key responsibilities

Conducts informational and practical trainings for customers drivers; assures that effective teaching concepts are utilized;
Develops practical driving competence of customers drivers;
Coordinates and plans for trainings, insuring proper utilization of equipment; makes participant evaluation;
Is ready to instruct, supervise and monitor driver actions in all phases of training and insure drivers compliance with program policy.
Serves as a Role Model to the driver as to conduct and attitude;
Prepares and maintains driver training manuals and materials;
Communicates with customers and presents truck technical innovations;
Performs safety and maintenance checks of company demo trucks;
Participates and supports colleagues in trucks delivery and handover to customers process;
Cooperates with colleagues to ensure maximum customer satisfaction;
Responsible for customer related systems ( administration, develompment and services sales).
