YOUR MISSION
- Lead the development and maintenance of advanced credit risk models, including credit scoring, fraud detection, and other risk assessment models
- Monitor model performance and implement enhancements to improve predictive accuracy
- Enhance model performance with advanced techniques and seek new data sources
- Analyze data for insights and recommendations in underwriting and loan origination
- Support the development of early warning systems, forecasting, and strategies to mitigate credit and operational risks
- Stay current with modeling trends, guiding the team in best practices
- Provide analytical insights to identify opportunities for process automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with risk management, legal, and customer service teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related STEM field
- 4+ years of advanced analytics/data science experience, with a preference for risk-related experience
- Proficiency in data analytics, statistics, modeling, and algorithms
- Strong skills in data retrieval, processing, and programming using R and Python
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Ability to identify business problems, design modeling solutions, and offer data-driven strategic recommendations
- Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data-driven insights in English
- Proactive and ownership-driven personality with a keen interest in statistical modeling and machine learning
- Advantage: Knowledge of credit risk modeling, including scorecard development, probability of default, loss given default modeling, and hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
