SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Financial Systems
Responsibilities:
- Administration and maintenance of the payment system and Internet Bank
- Installation of software releases, patches, and hotfixes on production and test environments
- Administration of payment gateways and related systems
- Support and configuration of product and test environments
- 2nd level technical support (incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis)
- Monitoring service availability and performance
- Ensuring timely system updates, configuration changes, and coordination with development teams
- Participating in UAT cycles and release deployments
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in financial system administration (banks, EMIs, PSPs)
- Solid Linux (Ubuntu) system administration skills
- Knowledge of SQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of REST API-based integrations ; ability to interpret API specs
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders
- Familiarity with payment infrastructure and message flows is an advantage
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SPLUNK)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Understanding of security hardening practices in financial environments
