Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or multi-entity environment
- Experience with payroll processing for small team of 5 in Latvia is required.
- Working knowledge of VAT, EDS, and Latvian tax reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and general accounting software
- Fluency in Latvian and strong English skills (written and spoken) are required

Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Verify supplier invoices and prepare payments
- Compile and submit import declarations (EDS system IMP)
- Process full-cycle payroll: calculate salaries, maintain monthly salary tax book, track sick leave, input data into payroll software, submit employer reports, and remit taxes
- Submit monthly VAT returns, Intrastat reports, and EEC sales lists
- Report Bank of Latvia statistics if receiving foreign account payments
- Provide documentation to external auditors for annual audits and tax filings
- Complete government census and economic surveys as required
- Coordinate and support any bank audits, including documentation and follow-ups

Compensation & Work Environment
- Pay range: €2,000 €2,500/month based on qualifications and experience
- Standard work hours: 9:0018:00, Monday-Friday Flexible
- Remote within Latvia, with flexibility depending on company policy
- Reports directly to the TMB Global Accounting Manager based in the United Kingdom
