About the role

We're building a high-impact solution using a modern tech stack and wed love your help shaping both the architecture and the way we work. Youll be part of a skilled, supportive team that values clean code, continuous learning, and personal growth.

Our in-house project is creating a unified CRM web application for Ifs Nordic Commercial organization. It gives sales specialists and claims handlers a clear, comprehensive view of all customer activity in one place.

To make that happen, we customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enhance it with our own backend and frontend features. The app integrates with over 30 internal systems and handles more than 20,000 customer events every day so yes, the scale and complexity are real. While the work is challenging, the vibe is collaborative and open. Theres always room for improvement, creativity, and trying out new ideas.
 
What are you going to do?
  • Lead development strategy discussions, providing technical leadership, mentoring, direction.
  • Provide technical insight during feasibility analyses and, when needed, executing proofs of concepts
  • Participate in architecture discussions as a representative of the team
  • Design, develop and document software systems
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Analyze and identify the need for improvement in existing process/applications, present solutions and implementation plan to team.
  • Use the latest Microsoft and Azure Cloud technologies to build modern, secure APIs
  • Provision Azure Cloud infrastructure with Terraform
  • Monitor backend services that process ~1,000,000 daily events using Azure Application Insights and Kibana/Elasticsearch
  • Ensure API and database integrations remain stable and operational
  • Review pull requests and coaching team members as needed
  • Offer feedback, and plan training sessions or workshops to support team knowledge and continuous improvement
What do we expect from you?
Must have
  • At least 5 years experience in the software development process
  • Strong knowledge of the C# programming language and .NET Core / .NET framework
  • Front-end development experience with React/JavaScript/Typescript
  • Experience and interest working with SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Message Queuing with MSMQ/RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of cloud integration using Azure services such as Azure Functions and Service Bus
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks
  • Strong expertise in integration architecture and patterns using middleware tools and APIs
  • Strong debugging skills and an analytical mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex issues
  • Understanding of DevOps culture and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in leading the development of technical solutions tailored to complex and diverse business challenges
  • Comfortable working with the rest of your teammates quality assurance specialists and business stakeholders
  • High degree of self-motivation as well as ability to work on feedback and deliver the best possible outcome within the given timeframe and scope
  • Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues other countries
Nice to have:
  • Experience in authentication protocols like OAuth/OpenID
  • MS Dynamics 365 suite experience, MS CRM SDK
