IGK Group is a leading international provider of credit information, debt collection, and credit risk insurance services. We are currently seeking a responsible and analytical team member to join our team in Riga as an Automation & Financial Data Specialist.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of business process improvement and financial data handling. It offers an excellent opportunity to apply your understanding of economics and company financials, contribute to the development of internal automation processes, and support international coordination in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process Automation & Software Projects: Participate in internal projects related to process automation and software updates. This includes formalizing internal workflows, drafting algorithms, performing data mapping, testing pilot versions, and preparing clear tasks for IT refinement and implementation.
- Ad-Hoc Template and Loader Updates: Make updates and adjustments to internal financial templates and register data loaders as required, ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Data Review & Financial Analysis Support: Work with economic and company-related data, including conducting random quality checks on credit information reports and supporting financial analytics tasks.
- Cross-Office Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with IGK Group Offices (CIS, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland etc.) on topics related to current credit reports, internal databases, data loaders, and other relevant tasks. This requires a confident knowledge of both English and Russian to ensure smooth communication with international colleagues.
- Document & Report Preparation: Prepare documentation such as monthly statements, statistical summaries, and other required documents. Ensure formatting and structure meet internal standards.
- Business Documentation & Presentations: Create and format reports, technical documentation, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Internal Team Support: Support internal teams with project structuring, helping to organize information logically and maintain clarity in documentation and planning.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accuracy, consistency, and structure across internal documentation and ensure that updates are tracked and clearly recorded.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Russian, both written and spoken essential for daily communication with international offices and handling documents in both languages. Knowledge of Latvian is an advantage, though not essential, as the role primarily involves communication with foreign offices within the Group.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and work with balance sheets, financial statements, and credit-related data. Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.
- Technical Literacy: Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with working in structured templates and data formats (e.g., registers, loaders). Experience with process mapping tools, data mapping, or software testing is a plus.
- Structured Thinking: Ability to formalize workflows, draft clear task descriptions, and break down complex processes into logical steps for IT or internal teams.
- Documentation Skills: Capable of preparing reports, internal guides, structured presentations, and maintaining clarity and accuracy in documentation.
- Initiative & Responsibility: Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to handle both routine tasks and ad-hoc requests efficiently.
- Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude in dealing with internal teams and group offices across different countries.
