The role involves contact with Swedish clients and suppliers abroad, so proficiency in spoken and written English is required and essential.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 9.00-17.30 (Riga time).
You will work together with colleagues at Printpool which is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Work tasks include managing productions for publishers and/or marketing departments, while being stationed with friendly colleagues at Adevo, Riga (Old Town).
There is also the possibility to work partially from your home.

1. Project management and planning
- Plan and manage graphic production projects from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and according to specifications.
- Coordinate between various stakeholders such as agencies/designers, publishers, and suppliers to ensure all projects meet customer requirements.

- Proficiency in English is a must have
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and suppliers, managing expectations and ensuring their needs and requirements are met.
- Translate client needs into specific production requirements and ensure that external partners understand and work toward the same objectives.
- Keep clients informed of project status and manage expectations through regular updates and production meetings.
- Handle any issues or complaints from clients and work to resolve them promptly.
3. Quality control and risk management
- Ensure that all productions and projects maintain the right level of quality, from original files to final product.
- Conduct regular quality checks (e.g., contract proofs, original art approvals, reference samples) and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production cycle, including proof reading and formal approvals before publishing, printing or distribution.
- Ensure that all products delivered by external suppliers meet the agreed standards and therefore fulfil client expectations.
- Identify and manage risks in the outsourcing process, such as delivery delays or quality issues, and develop plans to minimise risks.
4. Budgeting and cost control
- Develop budgets/cost estimates for campaigns or individual projects, ranging from small to large scale, or create annual budget projections.
- Support clients in finding cost effective solutions that suit their needs and expectations, whether they are creative, high-quality, or simpler solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee ongoing production with contracted suppliers. Request quotes for projects not covered by existing supplier price agreements.
- Verify and certify invoices against price lists/quotes and actual outcome.
5. Technical support/advice on graphic technology and problem solving
- Possess knowledge of various printing techniques (digital, offset, etc.) and apply this to client productions and projects, including material selection and finishing methods.
- Resolve technical issues during the production process, when necessary, in collaboration with expert colleagues or suppliers.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools within print production.
6. Teamwork and self-leadership
- Keep up with new technologies and best practices in graphic production to implement improvements and increase efficiency.
- Embrace continuous learning and take initiative.
- Share experiences and knowledge with the team.
- Support and back up colleagues within the team.
This role requires a combination of graphic production expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to successfully manage both small and large projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.
