The role

GoCardless has implemented a Coupa-based Purchase to Pay (P2P) system globally that will manage the end-to-end process of P2P and a supplier contract repository. The next phase is about building a full procurement lifecycle function across GoCardless.
The role will report to the Senior Procurement Manager within the new Procurement function and will sit within our Financial Control and Reporting team, which includes the Accounts Payable function.

The ideal candidate is proactive and confident, working independently to support the business and procurement team and will work with the Procurement Analyst to deliver all
procurement administration activities. Experience within procurement, contract management, administrative support, and/or accounts payable is strongly preferred.

What excites you 

  • Provide procurement subject matter expertise, guidance and best practice to the business, assisting with sourcing activities, risk management and in-life supplier management
  • Identify supplier negotiation opportunities
  • Own and manage assigned supplier contract negotiations, working with stakeholders
  • Provide procurement subject matter expertise to the business, including the P2P Coupa system and processes, including training where required
  • Work closely with the stakeholders, third-party vendors, procurement business users, accounts payable team and contract administrator to maintain excellent user effectiveness, experience, and success
  • Manage and produce Procurement KPI reporting
  • Develop and ensure the ongoing maintenance of all related P2P Coupa demos, training materials and Quick Start Guides
  • Manage the function's day-to-day P2P workflow from onboarding new suppliers, Purchase Order workflow approvals and queries
  • Participate in the Coupa Community to constantly strengthen expertise

What excites us 

  • 2-5 years of Procurement experience and subject matter expertise in the IT & Marketing categories (other category experience will be considered due to the transferable nature of procurement)

  • AP experience is desired, but not mandatory
  • Knowledge and experience of the Source to Contract Coupa system and process strategic best practices. Coupa certification is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with various other Source to Contract Procurement tools
  • Consistent - Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules, and regulations

Salary range: € 2470 - € 3700 (gross)
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (€ 2470 - € 3080 (gross)) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account the level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
