In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Be no. 1 contact for the market risk management in Life and Non-Life Insurance companies;
• Analyze the performance and risk of investment portfolios and prepare risk reports to internal stakeholders;
• Calculate regulatory and economic capital requirements, measure earnings at risk, participate in assessment of Own Risk and Solvency process, conduct add-hoc stress testing exercises;
• Perform regulatory reporting of the companies assets in accordance with the Solvency II framework;
• Develop investment portfolio risk models, operational tools, and documentation for managing market risk;
• Contribute to development of sustainability risk management framework;
• Have close cooperation with other departments and functions such as Actuaries, Risk and Product Development.

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance;
• Deep understanding of market risk management, financial instruments and accounting for financial instruments;
• Knowledge of Solvency II framework, and other financial sector regulations is an advantage;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, high accountability;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in VBA.
