What Youll Be Driving:

Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining features for recommendation systems and supporting applications;
Building and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency services capable of handling significant traffic loads;
Creating and maintaining comprehensive automated testing suites (unit, integration, and functional tests)
Collaborating with ML engineers to implement and optimize recommendation algorithms;
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive technical feedback to team members;
Engaging in on-call rotation to support production systems and resolve critical issues;
Partnering with product management to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
Providing technical guidance on implementation complexity, feasibility, and alternative approaches;
Contributing to system architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning.

What Makes You a GR8 Fit:

2+ years of professional Python development experience with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code;
Advanced SQL query writing and optimization skills, with strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases;
Hands-on experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask;
Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
Practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm for application deployment and management;
Basic knowledge of Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration;
Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity analysis;
Self-motivated with strong ownership mentality and ability to deliver results independently;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration;
Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements;
Experience participating in agile development processes.
