Senior Finance Manager

Senior Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including tax compliance and reporting;
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual reports for both management and statutory purposes;
- Ensure the financial reporting is compliant with group accounting policy, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local accounting policy;
- Manage budgeting processes and cash flow projections;
- Ensure proper control, accounting, and accountability of capital assets;
- Responsible for managing and maintaining cost accounting processes and procedures;
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the credit control and receivable collection;
- Collaborate with external advisors on tax, audit, financial, banking, legal, treasury, and risk management matters;
- Maintain effective internal budget controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures;
- Review and enhance the internal control system to ensure operational and policy compliance;
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Competencies required:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance;
- Min 8 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred;
- Strong financial reporting, cost control experience;
- Familiar with manufacturing accounting and inventory control system;
- Knowledge with the Latvian accounting standards, custom and tax system, preferable;
- Knowledge of the IAS (International Accounting Standards) or FRS (Financial Reporting Standards);
- Experience in manufacturing setup and costing;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English to ensure effective communication with stakeholders in an international environment;
- Possess a high level of integrity and good leadership and supervisory skills;
- Able to communicate at all levels and excellent analytical skills required, confident in dealing with senior stakeholders.
