Requirements:
- Engineer’s degree in civil engineering/mechanics or similar.
- Previous job experience in related field.
- Advanced level of English and Latvian languages. (English is necessary for communication with an international team of engineers and foreign partner companies).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor requested.
- Familiarity with engineering standards, construction methods, and technical documentation
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in plant environments
Main responsibilities:
- Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD Inventor and other CAD software for plant layouts, structural components, and mechanical systems.
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models of industrial facilities.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Plan and optimize plant layouts to ensure efficient workflow, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineering teams, clients, or regulatory bodies.
- Maintain drawing documentation and ensure version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure design feasibility and alignment with construction practices.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, verify existing conditions, and support installation or construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations in all design work.
- Support project scheduling and cost estimation by providing accurate technical documentation and material take-offs.
