About the team:
The Testing Platform team is responsible for building, evolving, and scaling the automated testing foundation that enables engineering teams to deliver high-quality software with speed and confidence. Rather than owning feature testing end-to-end, the team operates as an enablement function, focusing on shared infrastructure, tooling, and best practices that empower product teams to test effectively.
The team works proactively to reduce friction in testing, improve reliability and feedback loops, and ensure that quality is built into the development process from the earliest stages. By providing reusable solutions, clear guidance, and strong technical leadership, we help standardize quality approaches while still allowing teams the flexibility to meet their specific product needs.
To support the ongoing evolution and growth of our testing platform, we’re looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test to join the team.
Your daily tasks will include:
Process Improvement: research and evaluate new tools, optimise existing tests for speed and reliability, and share knowledge with the teams
Infrastructure Building: design and build robust, reusable test tools and infrastructure for the core platform test automation setups
Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with software engineers and product managers to identify risks, define testability, and deliver creative testing solutions
Test Plan Preparation: Conduct test plan reviews with engineers across teams for the new products, and implement a minimal part of the tests as examples for the owning team
Your qualifications:
Required:
Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field
Real practical development experience:
3+ years as a Software Engineer in Test, SDET, or similar role
1+ years of software development experience (not just scripting)
