- Analyze business requirements and system integrations within the architecture of the Workday Financials system and middleware and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications and stories in Jira;
- Consult with banks, treasury, finance CoE and technical teams about banking requirements including interface design and maintenance;
- Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and well as new integrations;
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, clear documentation and assistence with problem resolution where appropriate;
- Participate in design and conduct of unit and integration tests to ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements;
- Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality;
- Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices;
- Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards;
- Provide input and knowledge sharing with Product Owner, Group Finance Applicaions Team Members, and clients as appropriate.
You have:
- Understand financial and accounting processes generally (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking) and invoicing, banking, and payment settlement processes specifically, for example banking integration files.
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, leadership and third parties.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
- Experience with Agile development processes and Scrum framework, knowledge of Jira a plus.
- Knowledge of Workday integration tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Standard Connectors) a plus.
