Accountant (Payroll Focus) | Business Central 365
We are looking for a responsible and structured accountant to join our team and work closely with the Chief Accountant. This role combines payroll accounting with daily accounting support and offers the opportunity to grow into a key support role within the department over time.
Main responsibilities
- Full-cycle payroll accounting and related reporting
- Preparation and control of salary calculations in the payroll system (a system change is planned in the near future)
- Participation in payroll system transition and process improvements
- Processing of purchase and sales invoices (electronic invoicing)
- Work with electronic document flow in Fitek
- Accounting entries, reconciliations, and balance checks
- Supporting month-end closing and financial reporting
- Assisting the Chief Accountant with daily accounting tasks
- Communication with colleagues and internal departments on accounting matters
We are looking for someone who
- Proficient in language LV
- Has experience in payroll accounting
- Works accurately and respects deadlines
- Enjoys working with numbers, balances, and reports
- Is reliable with working hours and responsibilities
- Values teamwork and maintains a respectful, supportive attitude
- Is willing to learn and participate in system and process improvements
- Has experience with Business Central 365 (preferred)
- Is looking for a stable, long-term role with growth potential
