Project overview

DataArt is working with multiple business units, helping the customer to re-architect key aspects of its data infrastructure and business applications, including taking them to the cloud. Our scope of engagement includes modern front-end development, data streaming, data warehousing, modern APIs, and other areas. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

Tech Stack

5+ years of experience or over 5 completed projects
Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, ELT/ETL, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
AWS or Azure cloud – must have
Snowflake or Databricks – must have
Microsoft Fabric – preferable
Strong proficiency with SQL and its variations among popular databases
Experience with some modern relational databases
Knowledge of the programming language Python

Job Responsibilities

Develop, operate, optimize, test, and maintain the business’s data warehouse, as well as develop ETL processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional designing of table structures
Drive the full life-cycle of back-end development of the business’s data warehouse, as well as develop ETL processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional designing of table structures
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
Define data retention policies
Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
Choose and integrate tools for monitoring, managing, alerting, and improving customer database performance
Develop and implement automated processes that ensure uninterrupted updating and correction of database vulnerabilities
Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements

What We Offer

Compensation

Gross monthly salary range: EUR 4,000 – 6,000, depending on experience and technical expertise.

Final offer is determined individually based on professional background and interview results.
