The role
Our mission as the Payment Intelligence team is to augment our bank payments product with intelligent data products that differentiate our offering and increase our win rates.
Our focus areas are our existing products, Success+ and Protect+. This means creating market-leading payment recovery rates and fraud prevention products.

Projects in the pipeline that align to these focus areas are:
  • Improve payment recovery rates for failed Account to Account payments.
  • Improve fraud detection rates of our ML models and rules based systems
  • Improve the consumer authentication flow experiences for high risk payments.

As an engineer, you will be actively working on projects that help grow the adoption of these products while improving the experience of using the same and coming up with ideas for new product features in this space. You will be aided and supported in this journey by a team of super talented and motivated engineers.

This is a unique and high-profile opportunity for you, as an engineer, to work on building one one of GoCardless' major revenue streams in the coming years.

Base salary range: 2,933–4,400 EUR gross

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
