Software Architect
Location: Riga, Latvia / Hybrid (50-60% remote)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to take technical ownership of our software landscape. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Development and cross-functional teams to define the technical roadmap, introduce new technologies, and ensure scalable, secure, and stable solutions. Your mentoring and guidance will shape the growth of our full-stack development team.
Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of the overall software architecture
- Co-define and evolve the technical roadmap with the Head of Development
- Evaluate and implement new technologies (e.g., Rust, SAP integration)
- Ensure scalability, security, and stability across all systems
- Coach and mentor developers in the full-stack team
- Collaborate closely with Project Management, Sales, and Development teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of software architecture and system integration
- Strong programming experience in Java, Rust, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, pgpl)
- Experience with SAP integrations and API connections
- Knowledge of automation tools (PowerShell, XSLT, XML)
- Experience with cloud architectures and DevOps practices
