what you'll be working on
- Taking over full-cycle accounting for 3 companies in different jurisdictions;
- Evaluate and develop our internal management system and help automize processes and information flow;
- Recomendation and implementation of new accounting software;
- Preparation of financial, annual and operational reports as well as other necessary management and regulatory documentation;
- Participate in training and development of future accounting team members;
- Recommendation and implementation of internal accounting processes and procedures to improve internal efficiency
- Lead annual statutory audits
- Tax matters
what you need to succeed in this role
- You are full-cycle accountant and have at least 5 year’s experience in senior accounting role
- You have demonstrated experience of working within the e-commerce and financial industry;
- You have demonstrated experience of working in accounting in international companies and IFRS;
- You obtained higher education in accounting, economics or finance;
- You know the best practices when it comes to picking the right software for accounting;
- You have good communication and team management skills;
- You are proactive and can standardize processes from scratch;
- You are an accurate and experienced user when it comes to working with computers, MS Office and accounting software;
- You are fluent in English, Latvian and Russian.;
Candidates with a completed ACCA qualification will have an advantage.
