Position overview
Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance in the chemical industry? Do you have a strong understanding of local regulations and requirements? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Regulatory Compliance Associate at allnex GBS Riga.
As the Regulatory Compliance Associate, you will be responsible for assessing the compliance of allnex products with local regulations and requirements. You will also be responsible for answering internal and external customer inquiries, preparing and submitting notifications or registration dossiers to the authorities, and managing blocking processes to release orders from regulatory hold while ensuring regulatory compliance.
In addition, you will participate in project teams for setting up new processes and tools enabling us to assess the impact for the business and comply with new regulations. You will work in cooperation with the Global Hazard Communication (HazCom) team to ensure that all required HazCom documents (e.g., MSDS, labels) for products are compliant with current local regulations.

Responsibilities
- Assess the compliance of allnex products with local regulations & requirements
- Answer internal and external customer inquiries independently and new topics with assistance of the REGIONAL Manager
- Prepares and submits notifications or registration dossiers to the Authorities (eg C&L
- Inventory notifications, Poison Centers dossiers, etc)
- Participate in project teams for setting up new processes and tools enabling us to assess the impact for the business and comply with the new regulations
- Manage blocking processes to release orders from regulatory hold while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Work in cooperation with the Global Hazard Communication (HazCom) Team to ensure that all required HazCom documents (eg MSDS, labels) for products are compliant with current local regulations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry is the preferred minimum qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance
- Understanding of polymer chemistry
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Detail oriented
- Customer-oriented
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize daily work and exhibit time-management skills.
