System Engineer

CLIENT
The client's product is a 4K video processing and delivery solution. This solution will allow creating, uploading, and delivering video files that will be controlled by the developed application. The created video content will be streamed to a special device and will be used in the marketing sphere, at events, and in any other business field.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
DataArt will augment the client's team in the active development project stage.

TEAM
The development team on DataArts side consists of Node.js and React developers, DevOps, a project manager, and a business analyst (probably). The in-house development team consists of the CTO, a tech lead, and a UI/UX specialist.

• Strong experience with Linux/Ubuntu
• Specialized knowledge of Ubuntu Core
• Proficiency in Snapcraft
• Ability to build snaps
• Experience scripting snapcraft files
• Knowledge of publishing and distributing snaps
• Familiarity with open-source projects and communities
• Troubleshooting skills for issues related to snaps and Ubuntu Core
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and deadlines
• Spoken English

• Develop and maintain Ubuntu Core-based images for the hardware
• Design, develop, and deploy snaps using Snapcraft
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration of snaps and other software components
• Develop and maintain scripts for snapcraft files
• Publish and distribute snaps to the Snap Store and other distribution channels
• Troubleshoot issues related to Snaps and Ubuntu Core
