Job description
- Strategy and planning: Participate in the development of the strategic business. Prepare annual budget, quarterly forecast and suggest corrective actions.
- Monitoring and optimizing the business controlling function and information flow routines, monitoring overall companies operational procedures/processes.
- Working closely with internal and external audit function and with internal IT Department.
- As part of the management team to evaluate, approve and monitor investment proposals, risks monitoring, internal controlling, debtors management, business analyzing, benchmarking and decision support.
- Proactively taking part in Companys management and as well as monitoring the financial performance.
- Cash flow management, cash planning, funding activities and authorize daily payments. Cash pool account management. Supervise the analyses of financial risks.
- Together with Accounting ensure proper tax planning and tax requirements fulfilling. Focus on tax risks and assessment of net tax position of the company.
- To manage budgeting, financial reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, auditing, annual reports and accounts.
- Responsible for development and implementation of best practices, further improvements in finance and accounting. Monitor Compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and companys policy manual.
- Department management by coaching and developing subordinates and overseeing the activities of financial department.
Requirements
- At least 3 years working experience in financial management role and linked to international environment
- Finance department daily management
- Fluent English, fluent and/or native Latvian language skills and good Russian language knowledge
- Skilled user of MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Higher education Finance/Economics
- Practical work experience with ERP system/Data analytics program
