Job description

  • .Management of incoming documents (electronic and or hard copies) including verification, issue resolution, and follow-up communication
  • Process and validate all types of invoices, credit notes, and file uploads against vendor accounts (including inter-company and employee vendors)
  • End-to-end management payments: including but not limited to regular and exceptional proposal creation, checking and approval on the first level, general issue resolution and resolution of unsuccessful payments, prevention of duplicate payments, IDOC management, and handling the online banking tool
  • Reconciliation activities: for vendor accounts (including debit balance management, open item management, clearing, etc.) and for G/L accounts in the scope of the department and taking care of the AP-related month-end closing activities.
  • Handling, analyzing, and responding to vendor and internal business inquiries as main AP contact, including some T&E and Master Data-related, queries via phone, email, or tickets.
  • Reporting activities according to SOPs and additional country-specific reporting needs both in an ad hoc and scheduled way
  • Proactively manage knowledge retention in the area: creating and updating process documentation and supporting materials. Deliver training and mentoring for the team members aligned with the line manager.
  • Contribute to internal and external audit activities, is aware and acts fully according to ICFR and audit requirements
  • Proactively manage operations with a mindset to improve processes, leverage best practices and to foster stakeholder partnership. Represent AP in global and local projects and knowledge transfers for the selected area.
  • Support D2P management with ad hoc activities in case of need.

Requirements

  • Advanced SAP knowledge
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in the English language written & spoken
