What are the goals and responsibilities of a Project Manager?

At scandiweb, we prioritize understanding and meeting our customers' needs and goals. As a Project Manager, you will be fully responsible for the assigned project and ensure timely delivery of all important client requests. While being a valuable team player, your independence will be a crucial strength.

Your role will involve effectively communicating the customer's business requirements and expectations to your team. By understanding the technological solutions behind these requirements, you will provide the best solutions to ensure client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to establish a strong partnership in achieving this goal.

Throughout the project's journey toward launch, you will monitor progress and assess potential risks on a daily basis. As the author of the project's roadmap, you will have the authority to ensure the quality and suitability of its content.

What do we expect from you?

scandiweb is welcoming individuals with experience of up to two years in project management or web development and a core interest in eCommerce. We are seeking candidates with a proactive and driven personality who demonstrate high responsibility in meeting project targets. Since most of our projects are based on Magento, prior familiarity with this platform is expected.

Having a curious mindset and the courage to consistently explore new approaches and go the extra mile when needed will be beneficial. As this role involves greater responsibility, we expect a higher level of accountability and active participation in leading multiple projects.

We prioritize commitment to becoming a team-centric project leader and the capability to delegate clear and actionable tasks to team members. Effective management skills are essential, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project's vision from both process and people perspectives.

Don't worry if your previous experience is slightly different. All new colleagues, whether joining as mid or senior-level professionals, participate in our educational program to align with scandiweb's processes and expectations. However, for a mid-level position, we do expect the relevant previous experience to match the offered salary level.

Please note that if you are joining scandiweb remotely, you will need to have your own hardware setup. After the probation period, a hardware upgrade can be discussed and agreed upon.
