What are the goals and responsibilities of a German-speaking Junior SEO Specialist?

As a junior specialist, your core responsibilities will entail supporting Account Managers with daily SEO tasks. Such as keyword research, content guide creation, internal linking improvement, etc., with a focus on German-speaking countries.

In this role, it will be important for you to participate in technical SEO tasks, able to provide on-page (content creation) and off-page (backlinks building) SEO support.

What do we expect from a German-speaking Junior SEO Specialist?

As this is a junior position, we require no previous work experience. The scandiweb Traffic Acquisition Team is ready to provide the new specialist with the best SEO courses and learning materials.

Nonetheless, to successfully join the team, we expect great written and spoken German and English skills that will be vastly useful when delivering SEO solutions to global eCommerce brands.

You understand and have an interest in digital marketing, as well as are passionate about SEO in tech, on-page, or off-page directions. While working on a project, being a team player is as important as being independent in your research tasks. We always welcome to ask questions to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the tasks. Being a quick and proactive learner who can reflect on the rights and wrongs will help you to grow as a specialist.

We will consider it a bonus if you have previous experience with digital marketing and SEO, knowledge of statistical data analysis, and experience with content creation.
