Responsibilities and duties:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to the company across various subject areas, including corporate structuring and planning, corporate, and employment law;
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements, update internal legal documents, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Assure accurate and timely counsel to executives on investor relations, corporate finance and law, internationalization, and other relevant topics;
- Advise on different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations, including commercial issues and employment law;
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations in different jurisdictions and advise the company on necessary adjustments to business practices;
- Coordinate with other teams across the company to create and evolve good knowledge, process, and expertise of relevant legal topics across all teams within the company.
- Manage external counsel across a variety of jurisdictions.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of successful previous work experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A)  in a law firm;
- Bachelor's degree in law or related field;
- Fluency in Latvian and English;
- International experience providing a good understanding of diverse legal frameworks;
- Experience working with common law jurisdictions; 
- Communication and argumentation skills, strong attention to detail, willingness to learn;
- Comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, changeable environment, ambition to achieve goals, and a result-oriented mindset.
