Established in 2019, BARENTS is a fine dining Restaurant and Cocktail & Seafood Bar located in Riga Old Town. With a kitchen team lead by Chef Dzintars Kristovskis, curated wine lists by sommeliers Ņikita Zaičenkovs and Linda Karpenko, both BARENTS establishments entered the MICHELIN Guide in 2023. Upholding high standards of service, we have gathered multiple international awards last year, including Star Wine List 2023, Baltic Wine & Drinks Awards 2023 and Tripadvisor's Traveler's Choice 2023.
Now we are seeking an ambitious BARENTS GENERAL MANAGER with strong leadership skills and great passion for fine dining!
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Business strategy development, implementation and management of company's operation processes in alignment with organisational goals
- Collaboration with internal marketing team, finance team and wine distributor
- Budget development and control
- Team building, management and development
YOU MUST BE:
- Five years of management experience and entrepreneurial mind-set
- 360 degree understanding of fine dining restaurant operations
- C-level sales, communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, management and team development skills
- Good financial proficiency, including budgeting and reporting
