Mogotel is an international hotel operator headquartered in Riga, Latvia with 20 years of experience in European-level services and a friendly approach to every customer.
We operate 24 hotels in the Baltic states and Western Europe, offering a total of more than 3000 rooms. We represent our own brands and cooperate with world-leading hotel companies such as Wyndham, Accor, and Hilton.

We are in search of an experienced Training and Development Specialist who can seamlessly navigate three key areas: Onboarding, Regular Training and Training Needs Assessment, and People Development and Succession Planning. This role extends beyond hotel operations to encompass the broader spectrum of office employees, ensuring a holistic approach to talent development within our organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in hospitality management, Human Resources, or a related field is desirable.
- Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist in the hospitality industry, covering both hotel and office environments will be considered as advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Innovative approach to training program development.
- Proficient in the use of training tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, encompassing both hotel and office staff.
- Collaborate with department heads to tailor onboarding processes based on department-specific requirements.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for all employees.
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and seminars for ongoing skill enhancement.
- Utilize feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to evaluate and continuously improve training initiatives.
- Work closely with HR to develop and implement career development paths for employees.
- Create and execute succession plans, identifying and nurturing talent for future leadership roles.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to people development across the organization.

Remuneration from EUR 1600, - gross to EUR 2000, - gross, depending on professional experience and eligibility requirements and bonuses.
