The opportunity:
As an Audit Assistant, you will assist in various audit engagements in different industry sectors. As you build your finance & audit knowledge and experience, you will become a credible auditor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. Your key responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the audit clients business;
- Interact with the clients to collect all the necessary data and information, set-up and maintain audit files, etc.;
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements;
- Clearly and accurately document the execution of audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned audit approach;
- Data and information analysis while working on various audit projects.
What we expect from you:
- Drive to gain deep understanding of finance & accounting, business management (some previous experience would be an advantage), motivation and willingness to grow as an expert in audit field;
- Proper mix of strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Strong academic record including a university degree or being last year student in economics / finance / accounting or any other related area;
- Excellent spoken and written Latvian and English;
- Ability to work full time.
