We are looking forApplication Lead Engineerfor Channels area. Within an agile squad you will be responsible to represent IT operations - applications support and reliability. In close co-operation with application support, development and infrastructure engineers you will be driving meaningful resiliency, observability and reliability improvements of channels IT systems. The success of this role is highly appreciated by Luminor customers since they rely their business operations on us.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate across broad Technology division stakeholders, including IT operations, development, architecture, service management teams, to maintain highly available and scalable systems
• Monitor and lead stability initiatives for infrastructure reliability and high performance of production systems
• Design and drive initiatives to enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively identify early outage symptoms
• Guide cross-functional teams during Major Incidents for resolution, root cause identification and preventative actions implementation.
• Review and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure their effectiveness through periodic testing
• Evolve systems and processes by leveraging automation and optimization principles
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, runbooks, and incident postmortems

What We Expect: 

• 3+ years of experience in an IT Analyst, SysAdmin, Application IT administrator or similar role
• Observability mindset (monitoring set up, tooling)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical thinking and systematic way of working skills
• Higher education in Computer Science
• Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication

Will be considered as an advantage:

• Knowledge of banking services, preferably channels
• Experience with tools like NewRelic, Zabbix, OpsGenie, ELK and etc.
• Good knowledge and experience with ITIL methodology
• Fundamental knowledge of Infrastructure services (Linux, Windows, VMware, network, storage, backup & Cloud)
• Understanding of Software development lifecycle
