We are looking for a talented Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS;
- Implement and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters;
- Maintain Linux systems environment, including migration to K8s;
- Automate and streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments;
- Ensure high availability and performance of applications;
- Implement best practices for security and compliance in a cloud environment;
- Mentor and provide guidance to members of the team;
- Participate in on-call rotations to address and resolve system incidents and emergencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field;
- Proven experience as a System or DevOps Engineer in a senior role for 5+ years;
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture;
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes;
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and classical environments;
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef;
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform;
- Monitoring and alerting system knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry, Zabbix);
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell, Golang) for automation;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Kaniko, etc.);
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every candidate we meet. We don't want to set any limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the salary range for this position is 3500 - 4500 EUR Gross per month depending on your experience and skills.
