Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a team player who excels in both independent work and collaboration. The ideal candidate is a flexible professional with experience in Big 4, a strong grasp of GAAP and financial analysis techniques, and proficiency in Excel. 

Goals for the Role

  • First 3 Months: Familiarize with the company's financial systems and processes, participate in monthly financial closings, and support ongoing audit activities. 
  • 6 Months: Contribute to cost monitoring and process improvement initiatives, begin to take a lead role in coordinating financial reporting across entities. 
  • 1 Year: Achieve proficiency in all responsibilities, drive automation and streamlining initiatives, and play a key role in enhancing internal controls. 

Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting and control for the group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. 
  • Assist in coordinating monthly financial closing procedures, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. 
  • Support coordination with external auditors, facilitate audit activities and financial statements, and implement process improvement recommendations. 
  • Monitor and analyze costs and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization. 
  • Contribute to initiatives to automate and streamline financial processes group-wide, providing input on technology solutions and identifying opportunities for system enhancements. 
  • Enhance internal controls to mitigate financial risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard the integrity of financial data. 

Must-Have Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 
  • 2-3 years of financial reporting/business analysis experience. 
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis techniques. 
  • Proficiency in Excel. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information effectively. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. 
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in Latvian and good knowledge of English.
