SIA "BURDE B.V." is looking for Metrology Engineer
in the laboratory of an accredited inspection body
Applicant's requirements:
- Higher education in engineering or incomplete higher education (final year student);
- Proficiency in the national language (C level 1), English (B level 2);
- Work experience in engineering or relevant field of at least 1 year;
- Preferably a certificate in electrical safety (Group Bz);
- Basic knowledge of electronic equipment design;
- Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail system, etc.);
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD, other engineering software;
- Ability to plan, organise and carry out work independently and in a timely manner; accuracy in work performance;
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team;
- Ability to withstand stress in critical situations;
- B-category driving licence.
Main job responsibilities:
- Ensuring the implementation of modern measurement tools and techniques, evaluation of measurement errors;
- Draw up local test schemes for measuring instruments, establish test intervals and calendars for measuring instruments
- To establish and monitor the timetables and schedules for testing
- To carry out metrological expertise on the technological documentation developed by BURDE B.V. and the suppliers of the equipment;
- Selection of measuring instruments and methods, development of methodologies for their performance;
- To carry out the inspection of the speed control measuring equipment, to check the condition of the equipment, in accordance with the accuracy standards set and
- Manufacturer's documentation;
- Carry out checks on the correct metrological equipment, installation and operation of measuring instruments;
- Monitoring the adherence to the timetable for checking the measuring instruments;
- Participate in the drafting and approval of standards and other regulatory documents.
