About the project:
Our client is a leading insurance brand worldwide. We have built this project from scratch, ensuring a robust and modern tech stack. Our projects range from traditional annual car insurance to innovative subscription-based services. You will tackle challenges in developing web solutions that serve hundreds of thousands of customers daily. This role involves the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, system design and implementation, and cloud deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Create and enhance core components and services for ALIS, ensuring they are flexible, scalable, high-performance, and reliable.
- Object-Oriented Design: Perform analysis, design, and development of software components and applications.
- Requirement Analysis: Evaluate specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and estimate efforts accurately.
- Use Case Development: Develop use cases and design alternatives that meet business needs.
- Cross-Functional Interaction: Collaborate with Business Analysts globally to leverage expertise and enhance development.
- Full SDLC Participation: Engage in all software development lifecycle phases from requirements to release, ensuring timely deliverables.
- Best Practices: Promote and implement industry-standard software engineering processes and methodologies.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in recruitment, knowledge sharing, and team development to achieve organizational goals.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, and work with analysts and testers to document and validate implementations.
- Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
- Innovative Solutions: Discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and introduce new ideas effectively with the team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in enterprise software development.
- Strong OOP and enterprise integration patterns knowledge.
- Experience with Enterprise Java (Spring, Camel, Maven).
- Proficient in SQL and database design.
- Frontend frameworks experience (Angular 2+, ReactJS).
- Familiarity with task management tools (Jira, Redmine).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes.
- Proficient in Git (advanced branching, pull requests).
- Agile environment experience.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- Quick learner, adaptable, and open to new technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with Docker and Ansible.
- Insurance industry knowledge.
