Tia Enterprise is an award-winning insurance application trusted by over 60 insurance companies worldwide. Since joining Sapiens in 2020, our division has grown significantly, expanding our team in Latvia and elevating our role within the global organization.

About the Technical Consultants:

As a Technical Consultant in Tia Delivery, you will work with cutting-edge technology for the insurance industry, focusing on implementing and upgrading Tia solutions, servicing customers, and ensuring quality work. Your role involves delivering a variety of technical services to our global Tia community, implementing the Tia Solution for new customers, optimizing and upgrading processes for existing customers, and ensuring adherence to Tia's Best Practices and standard business processes. If you are passionate about working with dedicated professionals engaging in high-quality consulting services, and able to translate your knowledge into practical advice, we invite you to join our team.

Tasks include:

Innovative Technical Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design, development, configuration, and setup of Tia implementations, ensuring cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
Customer Upgrade Optimization: Spearhead and optimize customer upgrades to the latest versions of the Tia Solution, enhancing their operational efficiency.
Comprehensive Quality Assurance: Review requirements and technical designs, ensuring top-notch QA of setup, design, architecture, and infrastructure.
Performance Enhancement: Focus on performance optimization, ensuring our solutions run seamlessly and efficiently.
Technical Documentation: Contribute to creating and maintaining thorough technical documentation, supporting our clients and internal teams.
Interactive Workshops: Conduct engaging technical workshops, sharing your knowledge and expertise with clients and colleagues.
Expert Training Delivery: Prepare and deliver in-depth technical Tia training sessions, empowering others to excel with our solutions.
Upskilling: Participate in technical product and skills workshops to continually enhance your expertise and stay ahead in the industry.

The following qualifications would be appreciated:

Analytical Skills and System Development: You possess excellent analytical skills and have substantial experience as a system developer, particularly with Oracle-based business systems, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle database.
Solution Implementation Expertise: You understand the difference between bespoke and standard solutions and have hands-on experience implementing standard solutions using Agile and waterfall methods.
Practical Consulting: You excel at translating your knowledge into practical, actionable advice for clients and team members.
Industry Experience: Experience in the IT and insurance sectors or familiarity with the Tia solution is a significant advantage.
Language Proficiency: You are fluent in both written and spoken English, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Team Player: You are a team player who conducts yourself professionally, is outgoing, and adapts easily to different environments and cultures.
International Outlook: As part of an international company, you can expect some travel to customer sites, making flexibility and adaptability essential.

Considered as an advantage:

Analytical Skills and System Development Oracle-based business systems like Forms, ADF, and WebLogic are considered as an advantage.
Web Services and Java Proficiency: You have practical experience with web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and Java. Alternatively, you are familiar with Java EE and have developed web-based solutions using platforms like JPA, JSP, JSF, and Struts.
Architecture and Infrastructure: You have experience defining IT architecture and infrastructure in collaboration with clients, along with proficiency in standard solutions, methodologies, and project planning.
Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Spanish is a significant advantage.
