As a People Operations Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving our human resources strategy and operations. You will ensure the seamless and efficient management of all people operations, from daily HR activities to long-term strategic planning. In this role, you will support and enhance our HR functions, implement impactful policies and programs, and align our people operations with the organizations ambitious goals.
- Champion of employee relations: Act as the first point of contact for employees, providing support and advice on all labor-related matters while passionately representing both employee interests and company goals.
- Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of employment law and HR practicesfrom hiring to retiring, performance management, compensation, benefits, and change managementto drive positive business outcomes.
- Partner with representatives from various departments to address employee labor relations, fostering a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Strategic HR consulting: Work with business managers and stakeholders to tackle organizational culture and employee issues, proactively mitigating potential business risks.
- Lead and inspire: Motivate and develop the People Operations team, leading by example and managing both local and international projects to ensure their successful implementation and clear value to the business.
- Analyze business needs to propose and implement HR policy improvements, process enhancements, and digitization efforts within budget constraints.
- Play a crucial role in managing employee-related aspects during transformations, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and recommend impactful changes.
- Ensure compliance and document management: Oversee the development, supervision, and execution of all labor-related documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage the people operations budgets: Prepare, collect, and analyze data to contribute to budget development, and monitor budget usage to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Being successful in this role:
- A bachelors degree in Hyman Resources/ Business Administration or similar education
- Proven track record of successful work experience 5+ years in managerial position in an international work environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge in Latvia legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic and analytical mindset coupled with hands-on execution ability.
- Skilled in managing employee-related aspects during transformations, using data-driven insights for decision-making and recommending impactful changes.
- Proven leadership skills to inspire and develop the People Operations team, managing local and international projects effectively.
- Fluency in Latvian and English both spoken and written. Ability to speak Russian is a big plus, since a big part of our employees communicate in Russian.
- Experience with digital HR systems, like Horizon, Eloomi (full employee journey) and Teamtailor.
