Size of Team in Riga: 170 developers.
The Product: As a Network Automation Engineer you will be responsible for developing and testing new network service models for our IP transport network, as well as automating tests and supporting the processes in operations. In this context, you will be required to work with a variety of technologies, network protocols and hardware. By working in a team and liaising closely with several network and IT teams, you will contribute to the delivery of an optimal and efficient network.
Responsibilities:
- Work on network service modeling using YANG, Python and vendor-specific configuration templates;
- Build and deploy automation with GitLab CI/CD pipelines;
- Create automated test cases using Robot framework.
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on programming and automation skills (Python, Git, CI/CD)
- Strong knowledge of IP networking (with certification minimum CCNA-level or equivalent)
- Experience working on Linux OS and bash scripting
- Results-driven collaborator and open communicator, happy to share knowledge and learn from others. Enthusiastic and flexible self-starter;
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and pronounced Agile mindset;
- Very good English (both written and spoken).
Will be an advantage:
- Familiarity with NETCONF/YANG, REST APIs, XML, XPATH;
- Experience with Docker and asynchronous messaging (e.g. Kafka);
- Experience using development environments (e.g. VS Code) and testing frameworks (e.g. Robot);
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience in software development or infrastructure is a plus.

- Salary from 2500 to 5000 EUR gross (depending on experience);
